 Having someone to look up to is not childish, it is necessary! We all need some good examples.    

                When people give me cards or notes of encouragement, I put them in a file folder called “Nice Stuff”.   After many years, that folder is so full that I am scared to take it out of the filing cabinet because it might explode all over my office!   In addition, I have a similar folder on my computer that contains 1270 more notes.                 I never look at what is in the folders.   I do not keep these notes because I am so insecure that I need to be reassured that I am doing well.   I keep the folders not because they say something nice about me, but because they say something nice about other people.   Those folders remind me that, most of the time, people are ki...

 The best time to warn someone about a problem is before the problem occurs. That is the intention of this lesson.... to warn us ahead of time so that we are not tripped up.  

 The measure of success is not how you start, but how you finish.  

You will see what you are looking for.... every time!

                   When Kevin Kinard was seven years old, his school went on a field trip to Arkansas’ Crater of Diamonds State Park.   For the last twenty-six years, he has been going back to the park in search of diamonds.                 It is not a crazy quest.   Since 1906, seventy-five thousand diamonds have been unearthed in the park, but Kevin always came home empty-handed.   That is, until September of last year.                 On Labour Day weekend, Kinard and some friends went back to the park and he picked up anything that looked shiny or interesting.   By the end of the day, he had a bag full of rocks...
